I learned good things today. I knew it before, but I don´t think it enough. I was visiting a family, which have an organic dairy cow farm.The younger farmer kept his hand in the hand of a little farmer, his son, when he told us about his farming. I felt that the knowledge was running to the little farmer by the father´s hand. Grand father was standing beside them and I taught. that it has happened before too. The belief what you are doing is very strong. A little farmer watched his father and I think I felt the same feeling. He was a clever man.

Opin taas tänään erään asian uudestaan, minkä jo tiesinkin, mutta en sitä kovin ajattele. Olin vierailulla perheessä, joilla oli luomulypsykarjatila. Nuorempi isäntä piti poikaansa kädestä, kun hän kertoi karjan pidostaan. Tuntui, että tieto virtasi kättä pitkin pikku isäntään. Isoisä seisoi siin vieressä ja hetkessä toistui historia, niin uskon. Jotenkin niin lujassa oli usko omaan tilanpitoon. Ja pikku isäntä katsoi ihaillen isäänsä ja opin,, että hän on viisas mies.

So, about the ting I learned... The compost which was made from manure and straw is the most important thing, when you want to produce good food for the milking cows and then to the  people. You have to give something back to the fields if you take something from it. It is just so simple and clear.headed.

Siitä asiasta, minkä opin... Karjanlantapohjainen komposti on pellon kunnon ydin ja se on tärkeä ymmärtää, kun haluaa tuottaa ekologisesti kunnon ruokaaa lehmille ja ihisille myös.
Jos jotain maasta ottaa, sille on  annettava jotain takaisin. On selvää, että maata ei saa ryöstää puhtaaksi
